Scholar-in-Residence Shabbat

Scholar-in-Residence Shabbat

April 25 and 26, 2014
with Barbara Rosenthal and Jane Segal
in honor and loving memory of Joshua Abraham Birnbaum z"l

Do we believe the soul survives death?  We'll explore Jewish views on and experiences with the "other side."
Judaism does posit a belief in the existence of the soul after death, but there is no agreement or offical dogma about what form it takes: reimcarnation? bodily resurrection? heaven or hell?
Please join Barbara Rosenthal as she leads us through an exploration of the many beliefs about the afterlife within the Jewish tradition. Jane Segal, a Jewish medium/life guide, will join us at our last session and will share what she has learned through her unique experiences.
