Sponsor a Kiddush Lunch
Every Shabbat morning, after services, we enjoy a lunch together as a Community. New and old friends eat together, relax over dessert and schmooze while they renew friendships and make new ones.
Newcomers to our Community marvel at the warm atmosphere. How do we make this happen? Well, thanks to the generosity of our members, many weeks the lunch is sponsored in honor of a person, in celebration of a simcha, or in memory of a loved one.
It is easy to do! You have two choices:
- You may contribute $300 to cover the cost of the lunch, and the shopping and preparing will be taken care of by our Kitchen Committee.
- You may contract with an approved kosher caterer. You must, however, advise the CSI Office of the caterer’s name and provide contact information. Rabbi Russo will need to approve the caterer; please do not sign any contract or give the caterer a deposit before checking with him.
Whatever way you choose, your sponsorship will be acknowledged in the weekly Shabbat Announcements, our Shabbat Handout, and on our sign board in the Lobby.
