Welcome
We’re glad you're visiting us online!
We’re all about community. We’re a diverse egalitarian Conservative congregation. We’re the only “Big Tent Judaism” congregation in Rockland County, which means we happily welcome interfaith families and members of the LGBTQ community. We create a comfortable environment for singles (of all ages!), families, babies, toddlers, young children, and older children of any age. We welcome racially diverse families and families with special needs.
We put on no airs and no pretensions. If you’re looking for a spiritual home that’s warm and welcoming, check us out. We’re eager to welcome you and get to know you.
We invite you to our synagogue for Shabbat services, which are held Friday evenings (at 6 pm) and Saturday mornings (at 9:30 am), and on all Jewish Holidays. We also hold Sunday morning minyan, which starts at 9 am and which is followed by a bagel breakfast.
Our new bright Educational Center houses our Preschool, Religious School, and Gan Katan (early childhood offerings), which includes Yoga, Hebrew for Tots, Munchkins and Mishpacha (Mommy/Daddy/Caregiver and Me), “Boppin' with Bonnie” (music for little ones), and our free weekly Tot Shabbat. It's also home to our free late afternoon storytime for our little ones: Winter Wednesdays in the winter months and Watermelon Wednesdays in the summer months. Starting July 2013, it will house Camp Fun and Sun, our day camp for kids ages 1 through 4.
Please contact our office if you have questions or want to join us at CSI.
