The Soul of Gender

November 24, 2024 - 3-5 PM @ CSI Nyack 300 N. Broadway, Nyack

Suggested donation of $18

The theme of Gender is particularly relevant at this time in our world. The subject is being broken open and has offered many individuals the opportunity to examine their personal truths and identities for the very first time.

The story of Gender, in much of early World Mysticism, begins with the creation of the human as one multi-gendered being, severed by divine decree.  How do these ancient wisdom teachings shine a light on the present moment? Join us in a multi-modal program exploring the soul of gender.  The study of these Mysteries invites us to explore who we are beyond our bodies and beyond the implications of centuries of historical patriarchy.

SOCIAL ACTION EVENTS

Announcing a new Community Fridge at the Stony Point Center!

Our congregation has been helping support Proyecto Faro's community fridges in Pomona and Spring Valley since they opened a few years ago. Now, there is a new fridge right outside the PF offices at the Stony Point Center.  If you ever plan to stop by the Faro "Free Store" with donations of clothing or household goods as so many CSI congregants periodically do, please consider bringing along an extra gallon of milk, a dozen eggs, or a bag of fresh fruits or veggies to drop off into the fridge while you're there!
